Room for Baby

March 6, 2012

Each day we are getting closer and closer to meeting our little one, soooo exciting and scary at the same time! I am sure many of you have felt this way! Over the weekend we finally put the finishing touches (well most of them) on the nursery so I figured I should get with it and post some pictures. So, here ya go!

This fabric here is going to be used to make a cornice board for above the window to frame in the white curtains. It took forever for my mom and I to find a good yellow fabric but I couldn’t be happier with what we finally found!

Here is a list of sources:

Crib: Dwell Studio

Sheet: Land of Nod

Blankets: AMAZING!!!!! All hand made by family and friends!

Angel Wings: gift from my mom, not sure where she found them!

Chair: used, Craigslist

Curtains: Target

Rug: Ikea

Dresser: vintage from a local antique store/repainted by me

Frames: Ikea

Elephant Print: DIY

Papa Print: La Baby Lay

Table: Home Goods

Lamp Shade: Cost Plus and recovered with fabric from Joann’s

Gray paint color: Benjamin Moore Moonshine

Wood Flooring: Floor and Decor Outlet

Thats about it! Once the cornice board is all done I will post more pictures of it installed, I think that will really complete the look! I can’t wait to actually use this room instead of just going in and staring at it every day like I have been!!!
